But here&#8217;s the first drawing on the first stone in the series, <strong><em>Sus scrofa<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/svmedaris.com\/2010art\/sus_scrofa_stone01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Sus scrofa, litho stone\" src=\"http:\/\/svmedaris.com\/2010art\/sus_scrofa_stone01.jpg\" alt=\"wild-type domestic hog with taxonomy text surrounding it on litho stone\" width=\"480\" height=\"286\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lots of litho crayon (#4) work, water tusches, etc. This will be a color reduction print, but first doing some black-inked ones. The stone is about 20&#8243; across x 16&#8243; high.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s from the first batch of black-inked images.
